welcome to our second online annual report, which showcases the highlights of period 2018/2019 - our 16th year of existence. And it’s another year of impressive numbers: 14.027 members and 16.081 hours of volunteering for Junior Achievement (JA) are just two metrics which show the size and impact of our network. But besides these numbers I want to highlight the major success factor of the previous year: the people behind it.
The past year has shown that it’s not about the vision, not about the strategy and not about the operations per se, but about the people creating and executing it. And by this I not only mean the European Board, but also the communications and the events team. Also, it’s the leaders from all the different member nations of JA Alumni Europe. All of these people work for JA alumni on a voluntary basis and the outcome is outstanding. But take a look yourself – following you can read more about our impact and our key activities, first and foremost all our events, from the past year.
On behalf of the European Board,
