An overview of the Spring National Coordinators Meeting

The most important meeting for the National Alumni Coordinators this time took place in Copenhagen, Denmark. During three days of intensive work many outcomes were pointed out and next steps were established. Spring this time came with enthusiasm, a stronger commitment towards our network and new ideas flourished.

The NCM kicked off with the European Board Update, in order to introduce the participants to the NCM and provide a high-level insight into the most recent projects the JA Alumni Europe team is working on.

We believe SUSTAINABILITY IS THE KEY and it is important to make sure our networks are running smoothly 365 days a year.

There were many sessions on purpose to hep the National Coordinators and the JA Alumni Europe members to self evaluate and set up To Do lists for the betterment of the network. THE MENTORING PROGRAMME was assessed as a value added programme, while FUNDING: CREATE A PITCH DESK contributed in weighting funding possibilities and creating a pitch deck by every nation in order to be able to use them in their countries. We believe SUSTAINABILITY IS THE KEY and it is important to make sure our networks are running smoothly 365 days a year. Moreover a SHARE THE KNOWLEDGE session was intended to share fuck-ups and successful stories to the network. We enjoyed great stories and learned from each other’s mistakes. In this NCM during the COUNTRY TO COUNTRY session we presented specific masterclass channels on slack, where the nations can ask relevant questions to relevant topics.

Besides serious working sessions the Spring National Coordinators Meeting was filled with funny instants and emotional moments. We are looking forward to meeting again and be inspired by amazing alumni leaders of JA ALUMNI EUROPE.
